17 months of cleaning
Turtle Jack’s called us in to replace a brush we had left with them as a sample. When we arrived and took a look, the brush they wanted replaced was the sample itself. It had been cleaning grills in their kitchen for 17 months.
Talking with the kitchen manager, we learned that the Carlisle and Prince Castle brushes they normally bought lasted roughly 1 to 2 months before needing replacement. He liked the sample enough that he had already told kitchen managers at other Turtle Jack’s locations about it.
A bristle in the owner’s food
As word of the brush spread, a separate Turtle Jack’s location came to us with a bigger problem. A broken bristle had turned up in the owner’s food. It was luck that the bristle landed on the owner’s plate and not in a customer’s throat.
When we examined their setup, the location was cleaning a large commercial grill with a scraper brush built for a consumer barbecue. Without a standard brush across locations, there was no guidance to follow for grill safety, and each kitchen bought whatever was available. That location asked to try our brush on the spot.

Longer brush life means fewer replacements. A brush that holds its bristles means metal stays out of the food.
“Difference between Felton and competitors is night and day. Last longer, more durable, cleans the grill better than any brush we have used here. The amount of money we are saving by switching to Felton provides much needed relief given the past few years. I strongly recommend these brushes.”
